Detroit Socks partnered with the Canton Kiwanis Club and O&W Beer for a HUGE can and bottle return on the first day restrictions for can and bottle returns were lifted in the State of Michigan.
Detroit Socks would like to thank Delbert Hunt, the Wanty Family and O&W Beer for their generous donation of TWO semi trucks that we could fill with returnables. Canton Township Supervisor Pat Williams for allowing us to hold the can and bottle drive in the Summit parking lot. The Canton Kiwanis Club for their assistance in hosting the drive and all of my friends and family who came out to help and support me.
Detroit Socks and the Canton Kiwanis Club is happy to report they raised $4,000 that will be shared between the two charities.
