Merry Christmas Detroit! Detroit Socks had their largest single day distribution of over 700 pairs of socks.
I would like to thank my neighbors and good friends Alyssa and Amanda for their help in pairing up all of the socks for distribution.
The first stop was at the Samaritas Center in Wayne. Detroit Socks dropped off 200 pairs of socks and a special bag containing twelve different board games.
The next stop was at the Detroit NSO. Detroit distributed over 500 pairs of socks to those in need. It always makes my day to see how a new pair of socks can make someone’s day.
