There are a number of great organizations in our community that help those less fortunate. Unfortunately, they have donation drop-off times while I am at school or football. Thank you to my parents who dropped off 200 pairs of socks to the Veterans Haven in Westland.
The Veterans Haven has a food pantry in addition to giving away clothing and hygiene packages to area veterans.
